Terms of Use

Effective date: 2026-08-29
Last updated: 2026-08-29

1. Agreement

These terms apply when you use the Skitgubbe app ("the App"), operated by Jonas Borggren. By creating an account or playing, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Who may use the App

You must be at least 13 years old. If the law where you live sets a higher age for agreeing to terms like these on your own, you need your parent or guardian's permission.

3. Your account

You are responsible for what happens under your account, including keeping your password to yourself. Tell us if you think someone else has got into it.

Choose a display name others can live with. Names containing slurs, hate symbols or sexual content are removed, and repeated attempts can cost you the account.

You can delete your account at any time — see the privacy policy for how, and what happens to your data.

4. Fair play

Play the game as it is meant to be played. Do not use bots, modified clients, or automated tools. Do not exploit bugs to gain coins, wins or achievements — if you find one, tell us instead.

Do not harass other players, and do not use the App to send anything unlawful.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why.

5. Coins, items and purchases

Coins, decks, avatars and other items are a licence to use them inside the App. They are not money, they have no value outside the game, and they cannot be sold, transferred or exchanged for cash.

Purchases are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play, not by us. Refunds follow their rules — ask them, not us. Coins already spent are not refundable.

We may change prices, rewards and what items do, and may retire an item. Where a change is significant we will announce it in the App first.

6. Advertising

The App shows advertisements, including ones you can choose to watch in exchange for a reward. We do not control what is advertised beyond the settings our provider offers. See the privacy policy for what data is involved.

7. Availability

We try to keep the App running, but we do not promise it will always be available or free of faults. We may change or discontinue features, and we may stop offering the App entirely. Matches in progress can be lost during maintenance or outages.

8. Our content

The App, its artwork, card designs and name belong to us. You may not copy, resell or reverse engineer them beyond what the law allows.

9. Liability

The App is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost coins or progress, or for anything arising from your use of the App. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death, personal injury, or our own gross negligence.

If you are a consumer in the EU, your statutory rights are unaffected by these terms.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date above shows when they last changed, and significant changes will be announced in the App before they take effect. Continuing to use the App after that means you accept the new terms.

11. Governing law

Swedish law applies. Disputes are heard by Swedish courts. If you are a consumer, you may also bring a complaint to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN), arn.se, or through the EU online dispute resolution platform.
